Paid Part Time Role

Description:  Experienced Primary School Supply Teachers looking to make a difference…..

….for other teachers. We are looking for teachers to contribute in creating resources to support other teachers and learners.

With the ever changing curriculum and increased focus on assessment, teachers and learners are under increased pressure to achieve and evidence this achievement. We are aiming to support them in these challenges, whilst ensuring creativity and enjoyment are integral.

This is a start-up venture in its development phase and initially contributions will be on a paid part time basis i.e. one or two days a week, with teachers working as self-employed consultants. There will be the opportunity to increase participation in the venture as it grows.

We are looking for a teacher who is:-

  • A creative writer or mathematician with a good imagination
  • A meticulous planner and keen to innovate
  • Experienced in creating teaching resources and assessments for a range of abilities
  • Committed and able to work to deadlines

Selected applicants will be asked to create a planning summary, for a unit of work based on a given theme, for discussion in an informal interview.

Ideally, you will live in the South Wales area and be able to travel, as regular meetings will be held to discuss progress (these may last from the whole day in an agreed workplace or a shorter meeting using Skype with the possibility of working from home). The location of these meetings are flexible depending on the home location of the successful candidate/s.

Voluntary animators looking to gain experience for their CVs

Description: All work will be referenced to the animators to allow them to build their CVs, with the prospect of being part of the venture in a paid capacity as it grows. This is a start up venture in its development phase and all those interested will be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before an informal chat.

Requirements: Need to be:-

  • Versatile and flexible with a grounding in animation, modelling, rigging, design….
  • Experienced in Maya, 3DsMax, Adobe products…..
  • Committed, able to work as part of a team and keen to learn
